Episode 074 - Based Upon The Works Of: Philip K. Dick

This week we continue the based upon the works of series with another all time great author, who is hailed as one of the most influential sci-fi writers of the last 50 years with Philip K. Dick the man who gave in turn gave us classics such as Blade Runner (1982), Total Recall (1990) & Screamers (1995). One of the biggest things we find with movies based upon Philip K. Dicks work is that not many have been converted to film as so many other writers, with that said it gives us a better chance to really have a good look at what has been put out there.

Episode 072 - Insanity Beckons The Sane

We come at you foaming from the mouth and carrying a pitchfork this week, yes it’s time to delve into the world of those off balance, hallucinating, crazy haired psychos of the film world. Whilst preparing for this show I was shocked by how many movies have gotten over just by having their lead protagonist be a little kooky, it seems that it just makes them that more interesting. In fact many of these deranged halfwits find themselves returning time and time again to freak us out with their crazy take on life and of course death. So with that I ask you to join us on this journey into insanity as we go from Norman Bates to Patrick Bateman and beyond.

Episode 071 - Anime Special

This week we have got a massive show for you as we delve into the hugely popular world of Anime. Yes it's those swashbuckling, dirty minded, aggressive, heavily gifted women of the cartoon world who are making an impact on us, but is that all Anime is really about? There is so much stuff here to fill more than one show, what's even more of a blast is that Behind Anime Lines presenters Alastair and Craig joined us for the show. I'm sure many of you remember the show which ran on Edge Radio not to long ago, which by the way is about to make it's podcast resurgence very soon so keep an eye out.
